To withdraw your money:

  1. On the Bamboo homepage, under 'Bamboo Wallets', click on the wallet you want to withdraw from.

  2. Click the withdraw button.

  3. Type in the amount to be withdrawn and click 'Proceed'.

  4. Select the already saved account details you want the funds transferred to, and input your transaction PIN.

  5. You can also add a new bank account number. Please note that the new bank account will require verification from our compliance team. Also, note that we do not honor third-party withdrawals.

  6. For Nigerian users, withdrawals below ₦1,000,000 will reflect instantly if they meet certain criteria, otherwise, they will be processed within 2-3 business days in Naira bank accounts. For Ghanaian users, withdrawals via Mobile Money take 2-3 Business Days.

  7. USD/foreign bank account withdrawals reflect within 5-7 business days.

You can only withdraw money from a sale after the sale has settled; it takes one business day for a sale to settle and for the funds from the sale to become available for withdrawal.

If the money you wish to withdraw is in your stock brokerage account and not in your Bamboo wallet, you would need to transfer the money to your Bamboo wallet before you can withdraw it.

Please follow the steps below to transfer money from your stock brokerage account to your Bamboo wallet:

  1. On the Bamboo homepage, click on US Stocks, and click on 'Breakdown'.

  2. Click on "Transfer to Bamboo Wallet".

  3. Enter the amount and click 'Transfer'.

  4. It may take some time for the money to move from your stock brokerage account to your Bamboo Wallet. When the money has moved, you can then proceed to the homepage of your app, and click on the USD wallet to withdraw your funds to your bank account.

  5. However, if you are withdrawing to an NGN/GHS bank account, you will be required to transfer the funds from your USD wallet to your NGN/GHS wallet.

To do this;

  1. Click USD wallet.

  2. Click 'Transfer'.

  3. Type the amount to be transferred then click 'Continue'.

  4. Enter your Transaction PIN then complete the process.

  5. Afterward, you can proceed with withdrawing to your bank account.

Withdrawals below ₦1,000,000 will reflect instantly if they meet certain criteria, otherwise, they will be manually processed into your Naira bank account within 2-3 business days or 5-7 business days if you've made this withdrawal to your USD/foreign bank account. (For withdrawals to USD/foreign bank accounts, this could take longer depending on the bank and the country the bank account is domiciled in).

If you deposited from a Naira payment option, you can only withdraw to a Naira account.

If you have made deposits from both payment options, the percentage of deposits from one channel is the percentage of withdrawals that can be made to that same channel. E.g. If 20% of your deposits are from the USD Debit/Credit card option on the app, then 20% of withdrawals will also be to a USD account.

Withdrawals to a Naira account have a 45 Naira fee. Withdrawals to a USD account have a $45 fee.

The minimum withdrawal amount to a Naira account is ₦300. The minimum withdrawal amount to a USD account is $500.
