Here are some error messages you may encounter and what they mean:

Sale settlement error

The funds from your recent sale haven't settled yet. Please try again in 2 business days.


Closed positions error

This stock is currently unavailable for trading because it has been delisted from the U.S. stock market

PTP stock error (Buy order)

This stock is currently not available for trading. You can read more here.


PTP stocks error (Sell order)

This stock is currently not available for trading. You can read more here. Please reach out to [email protected] for further assistance.


Withdrawal error (Non-commercial bank details)

We are unable to verify these bank account details. Please ensure that you have provided account details for a commercial bank. Please reach out to the Customer Support team for further assistance if needed.


Withdrawal error

Please reduce the withdrawal amount by 45 Naira to cover the withdrawal fee.


App downtime (Android)

Incorrect login details (Error code 403)

Incorrect phone number or password. Please check your login details and try again.

"Phone number has already been taken" (Android)

You seem to have an existing account. Please uninstall the app, reinstall it and try logging in again.


Transaction PIN error

You have attempted to enter the wrong PIN several times and have exceeded your limit. Please try again after 24 hours.


Instrument Halted

This means the stock has halted trading on the stock market. This could be due to several reasons including volatility, suspension of trading for the stock by the SEC etc. Please see currently halted stocks here or click here to search with the ticker symbol of the stock to see the details of the halt. You can also try making your buy/sell order again at a later time.
